In order to better use and maintain Sante UPS power supply, we have sorted out some precautions for the use of UPS uninterruptible power supply system for you. Correct operation can extend the service life and efficiency of the system.
1. There are many high voltage energy storage devices in the UPS host. Non-professional training and certificate holders should not open the chassis for inspection without authorization. The operator must understand the basic knowledge of electrician and read the operation instructions.
2. Do not dismantle various connecting cables without authorization. In case of failure, contact the supplier or after-sales technical service personnel for operation or follow the instructions of technical personnel.
3. Do not move the UPS uninterruptible power supply system at will. If it must be moved, it must be ensured to move in the UPS shutdown state. It is not allowed to use in the strong vibration environment, and maintain good ventilation.
4. UPS power supply is generally connected with battery. Even if AC mains power is not connected, voltage may still exist at its output end. Even if the battery is disconnected after power failure, do not disassemble UPS easily.
5. When the UPS uninterruptible power supply system needs to be moved or rewired, it must be ensured that the UPS is completely shut down, and the air switch of the mains power input and battery input is still for 330 minutes before being moved. Otherwise, the output may still have electricity and there is a risk of electric shock.
6. In order to ensure the safety of users and equipment, UPS power supply products must have good grounding protection.
7. Please keep the air inlet and outlet unobstructed during use. Poor ventilation of air inlet and exhaust holes will cause the temperature inside the UPS power supply to rise, shorten the service life of the components in the machine, and affect the service life of the whole machine. Frequently check whether there is too much dust in the air inlet and outlet. Too much dust may cause the ups to explode.
8. Liquid or other foreign objects are absolutely not allowed to enter the UPS power box.
9. In case of fire around, please use dry powder fire extinguisher. Do not use liquid fire extinguisher, which may cause electric shock.
10. The service life of UPS battery will be shortened with the increase of ambient temperature. Regular battery replacement can ensure the normal operation of UPS system and maintain sufficient backup time.
11. If it is not used for a long time, the UPS power supply system must be stored in a dry environment.
12. When the UPS power supply is out of service for a long time, it is recommended to connect the UPS power supply for more than 12 hours every 3 months to charge the battery, so as to avoid battery damage due to long-term power loss.
13. Do not open the UPS battery box. The electrolyte will cause damage to the skin and eyes. If you accidentally touch the electrolyte, immediately wash it with a large amount of water and go to the hospital for examination.
14. Under the condition of electrification, it is not allowed to wipe the dirt with a wet towel.
15. The UPS battery must be replaced by professional technicians, and the replaced battery must be sent to a special recycling organization for treatment.
